I'm Petr — a nature photographer based in Heidelberg, Germany. My background is in architecture, illustration, and formal design, disciplines that trained me to read space, light, and composition before I ever pressed a shutter. That same eye now guides me through forests and up ridgelines: most weekends I'm on a bike or on foot in the Schwarzwald, and a few times a year I head south to the Alps.

The subjects that hold my attention longest are the ones that reward patience — the quality of early-morning light filtering through spruce canopy, or the way cloud shadow moves across an alpine meadow. I shoot because being outside and paying close attention to a place feels worthwhile, and the photograph is the proof I was there.
